Gloria is a co-founder of the Creative Youth
Leadership Program where she coordinates the design and implementation
of all our youth programs. In the early 1990’s, Gloria was on the
original design team of the Healthy Lifestyles Camp on which the
Creative Youth Leadership Program is based. She is widely experienced
in the area of community organization, especially educational and
social program design. While president of a board of education,
Gloria co-designed its student assistance program, which has since
been replicated in numerous school districts. In addition, Gloria
designed and is presently coordinating an intervention program,
the Freshman Success Program, at Riverside Institute of Technology
high School in Buffalo.
Gloria has developed creativity, leadership and communication programs
for numerous organizations around the world. She has developed and delivered,
creativity and innovation programs for the Singapore Institute of Management
in Singapore, to business leaders from many countries in the Far East and,
for the Center for Entrepreneurship at Canisius College. She has also
designed and delivered training to teachers and students in South Africa and
presented at the International African Creativity Conference.
Gloria holds a Master of Science degree in Creativity and Innovation.
She is a certified trainer of the Kirton Adaption-Innovation Questionnaire
(KAI) and the KEYS, a survey for assessing the climate for creativity.
She also has over 18 years of experience in the financial services business
and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
When not designing and delivering programming, Gloria can be found
spending time designing jewelry and learning to play the "blues"
harmonica.
